This weird beauty can’t decide if she’s gray or not, with strong green undertones that contrast gorgeously with tarnished gold beads. An elegant but almost industrial feel of cogs and wheels and steel, she brings to mind Michael Cunningham’s beautifully strange novel, Specimen Days. Or maybe that’s just me. But regardless, she’s lovely and will dress up your favorite black dress, or t-shirt and jeans, or everything in between.

Measures approximately 66” x 32”. Knit from a gorgeous merino/bamboo blend hand dyed here in Anacortes at Fidalgo Artisan Yarn Company, available here. Pattern is Palouse Shawl, available on Ravelry.

Hand wash in cool water using a delicates soap such as Eucalan and lay flat to dry.

All our work is done in a smoke-free but cat-friendly home. While this particular cat is not prone to playing with yarn, her hair (as any pet owner knows) does occasionally stray.
