You know that moment when you commit to something big and exciting and necessary, but it still makes you catch your breath?
| That’s what we’re feeling this week, as we commit to a complete 38-color run of the new yarn. That’s over half a ton of custom-milled, custom-dyed US merino wool headed our way later this fall and we are both anxious and elated, knowing in our heart of hearts that it’s what we have to do. For various reasons, this commitment brings our work more in line with the Tempestry ethos. This includes using mulesing-free merino wool, supporting good domestic jobs, shrinking our carbon footprint, and knowing that we will be able to continue this work for years to come. All of these things resonate deeply with us personally, and with many of the thousands of Tempestry participants. For all of this, we would be so grateful for your help.
