We are so pleased to be able to start offering Emotion Tempestry Kits again, this time in our very own custom Tempestry yarn: 100% US-sourced wool, custom milled & dyed in Pennsylvania exclusively for the Tempestry Project!
Emotion Tempestries are a simple, intuitive, sometimes fun, sometimes cathartic project for observing and contemplating our shifting emotions over time.
Each day is worked in the color that best represents the mood of the day, and you simply knit two rows or crochet one row per day to create a beautifully colorful record of the days and months as they unfold.
Yellow: happy / energetic / excited; Green: calm / content / comfortable; Orange: anxious / stressed / jittery; Red: angry / upset / irritable; Blue: sad / lonely / depressed; Gray: bored / exhausted / listless
Emotion Tempestry Kits include:
-Yarn in all six colors mentioned above
-Beads in above colors plus purple (fear) instead of gray
-A pocket notebook for recording daily colors & events
Every Emotion Tempestry is unique, of course, and will use different amounts of each color. Extra yarn is available for order here, and beads are available here.
