Wool Tempestry balls, felted, home decor, dryer balls

Practical, beautiful, and unique. Assorted colors, $21 for 3, approximately 50g each.

We first started making these beautiful felted wool balls as just a way of using up yarn remnants from our kit-making, but they’ve become a lovely thing in and of themselves.

We use some as dryer balls (see below), and have some displayed in a hand-turned bowl on our living room table, and have had customers rhapsodize about them for hostess gifts, pin cushions, juggling balls, children’s toys, and more.

We’ve had people hang them in windows, strew them across mantel pieces, and string them into nursery garlands. They also make lovely tree and holiday ornaments, just in need of a bit of string.

(Dryer balls are a natural replacement for fabric softeners, and help with speeding up the drying process and preventing wrinkles. Just throw a couple in the dryer with your wet clothes and forget about using those nasty chemical-smelling dryer sheets. Works best using 3-5 balls at a time.)
