Handknit cowl, pure alpaca, purple, green, hand dyed

Wonderfully soft and cozy warm, this cowl is knit from gorgeous domestically sourced alpaca yarn in shades of purple and green. Perfect for warding off even a polar vortex winter.

This particular gorgeous skein of yarn came from a farmers market in New Jersey — the stand’s owner was so much fun to chat with! He told us about his farm (they had 27 alpacas including a couple young ones), and how this skein had come from Daisy and daughter Daphne and then been dyed by his wife.

Cowl measures approximately 12″ deep with a 24″ circumference.

Hand wash in cool water using a delicates soap such as Eucalan and lay flat to dry.

All our work is done in a smoke-free but cat-friendly home. While this particular cat is not prone to playing with yarn, her hair (as any pet owner knows) does occasionally stray.
